The concert for Hexham Abbey Festival Chorus is on Saturday, 27th September at 7:30pm.
Final rehearsal: We start rehearsing 'Rejoice in the Lamb' at 3:30pm so it is suggested that you arrive by about 3:15.
Seating plan: This will be made available before the rehearsal on Tuesday 23rd September where we will try to sit in the same position as for the concert. Please make sure you indicate on the attendance sheets whether, or not, you are intending to sing in the concert.
Green Room: All rooms upstairs in the Abbey are in use for a wedding, so we have been assigned the café for use after the rehearsal.
Assemble before the concert in the old choir stalls from 7:00pm. You will need to line up in the correct order before processing onto the staging at around 7:25pm. A plan for this will be provided.
Concert Dress:
Gentlemen: DJ, white shirt, black bow tie
Ladies: black blouse, black skirt or black trousers
Black folders will be required. We should have spares if you don't possess one of your own.
Water will not be allowed on stage during the concert. We will also not be providing bottles of water and plastic cups for the interval so we suggest you bring your own supply.
Music return: please return all hired music in the bags provided after the concert. If you are unable to sing on the day please make sure you return your music beforehand.
